Annabella Piazza is a Queens-based contemporary mixed-media painter whose work bridges physical texture and historical narrative. Rooted in traditional painting, her practice regularly expands into material experimentation, building tactile, multidimensional surfaces. Her subject matter spans from expressive abstraction to the playful appropriation of historical art motifs. Holding a BFA of fine arts and a Master’s in Art Education, alongside years of experience teaching Pre-K through 12th-grade artists, Annabella approaches the studio with a process-driven curiosity, blending classical reference with energetic contemporary form.
